Gifflar dessert with frosting and berries

Delicious dessert made from Gifflar, berries and a touch of vanilla.


  • 1 bag Pågen Gifflar Vanilj (vanilla)
  • 250 g of berries, preferably raspberries


  • 100 g. cream cheese
  • 25 g. melted butter
  • 1 tbsp milk (3% fat)
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 dl icing sugar



  1. Frosting: Whisk together cream cheese, melted butter, milk and vanilla sugar to a smooth, fluffy dough. Stir in the icing sugar.
  2. Divide the Gifflar into pieces and place them in a dish, such as a pie dish.
  3. Spread the berries in the dish.
  4. Heat the whole dish in a microwave, about 20 seconds, so that the Gifflar and berries become lukewarm.
  5. Drizzle over the frosting and serve as dessert.


For a fresher tasting frosting, add a little grated lemon zest in the mixture.
