Gifflar Ice cream

Ice cream and summer are a match made in heaven. Add Gifflar and you have a perfect dessert to offer - or eat yourself for a good movie.

Ingredients

  • Ice cream
  • 5 dl whipping cream
  • A can of condensed milk
  • A package of Gifflar Vanilla
  • 100 g chocolate

Ingredients caramel sauce

  • 5 dl whipping cream
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method

Directions

Caramel sauce

  1. Pour the sugar into a saucepan and let it melt over medium heat.
  2. Do not stir with a spoon or similar as the sugar will stick.
  3. When the sugar has melted, take in the butter and shake the saucepan lightly so that the sugar and butter are mixed.
  4. Pour in the cream and stir with a spoon.
  5. Let the caramel sauce simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat so it does not boil over.
  6. Remove from the heat and allow to cool when you are happy with the texture.

Ice cream

  1. Chop the Gifflar into smaller pieces.
  2. Chop the chocolate.
  3. Pour the whipped cream into a bowl and whisk until it is wonderfully fluffy ...
  4. Mix in the condensed milk. If you want the ice cream a little less sweet, take a little less condensed milk.
  5. Pour in the chopped croissants and stir until evenly distributed in the ice cream batter.
  6. Set in the freezer for about 2 hours.
  7. Take out the ice cream and drizzle over the caramel sauce and the chopped chocolate.
  8. Set back in the freezer to bring out later to eat - or eat at once!
