Hönö with kippers


Ingredients

  • 1 Hönökaka 
  • Butter 
  • 200 g cooked new potatoes 
  • 150 g kippers 
  • 1 bunch radishes 
  • 3-4 tbsp capers 
  • 4-5 spring onions 
  • Dill fronds 
  • 1/2 tart apple 
  • Salt

Method

  1. Divide a Hönökaka into the desired size and spread butter on each half.
  2. Cut the potatoes and kippers into pieces. Slice the radishes and spring onions. Cube the apple and divide evenly over the bread.
  3. Top with capers, dill tops and a little salt.
