Farmer’s toast with halloumi

Festive and tasty toast with ayvar and grilled halloumi


Ingredients

4 sandwiches

  • 4 slices Pågenlimpan
  • 400 g halloumi
  • 1 dl crème fraiche
  • 1 dl ayvar
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 50 g alpha sprouts
  • 1 small sachet of mixed salad

Method

Directions

  1. Mix the crème fraiche with ayvar, salt and pepper.
  2. Slice the mushrooms thinly.
  3. Divide the halloumi into eight pieces and grill.
  4. Make the sandwiches with the ayvar mix, mixed salad and mushrooms.
  5. Top with freshly grilled cheese and bean sprouts.
