Do you allow use of straw-shortening growth regulators?

Straw-shortening agents are currently permitted in Sweden, but we want to limit the use of straw-shortening agents, which inhibit the growth of the straw to prevent the grain from settling or going off.

We do not allow wheat that has been treated with straw-shortening agents at all. Some of the rye we buy has not been treated with straw-shortening agents, but the supply is currently not large enough. Rye has longer and weaker straws, which increases the risk that the grower's harvest will be destroyed. Our goal is to use rye without straw-shortening agents completely and we are actively working to develop other solutions.
