What does Pågen do to prevent food waste?

Food waste is one of the world's most important sustainability issues and we continuously work in a circular flow to minimize waste in all parts of our business. The Eco cycle idea is in everything we do. We work with it in all parts of our process – in bakeries, in stores and in homes. In Sweden we have our own yeast factory where unsold bread from shops and leftovers from the bakery are reused in our yeast production instead of becoming food waste.
